There is a long human tradition that those with the power
get to decide what is right.
The problem is that this view is mythical.
Right
is right, and power only makes you powerful.
Leaders and nations with more
power make even bigger mistakes when they ignore what is right.
The stakes are
higher.
Power is simply a lever for whatever you do--good or bad.
The lesson of history is this: The more power you have, as
an individual or nation, the more vital it is to put principles above desire.
