Societies with a large and strong middle class tend toward
freedom and prosperity.
All other societies tend to less freedom and
prosperity.
Francis Fukuyama defines middle class as:
"...people are
neither at the top nor the bottom of their societies in terms of income, who
have received at least a secondary education, and who own either real property,
durable goods, or their own businesses."
Freedom is based on a middle class, and a middle class is
always based on successful entrepreneurship.
