There are a few distinctions or nuances that are vitally
important for free people to understand.
One is the difference between freedom
and democracy, which is something the lay people must know if a society is to
remain free.
Another is the difference between a democracy and a republic.
A
third is the vital distinction between free enterprise (where the law treats
everyone the same) and capitalism (where the law has a different set of rules
for the wealthy).
Liberty cannot succeed if the people don't know the basics
of maintaining it.
